CONF. 45WHAT WE MUST DO FOR THE PRACTICES TO GIVE POSITIVE RESULTS

We are going to look at this topic for the reason that everything we do here is of a practical nature. The fundamental thing is to learn to succeed at the practices.

In the practices of projection, for example, most people are failing.

Only once in a while does one see students succeeding at practices. This is so that we are clear about the different elements that can lead us to failure when one tries to do any practice.

All the practices give positive results, undoubtedly. The important thing is that one comes to do the practice in the frame of mind that is required for it.

FIRST ASPECT OF FAILURE IS THE LACK OF CONCENTRATION:

We are concentrated when Consciousness is centered in action.

If our Consciousness is our particular God, it never fails.

If a person centers their Consciousness on what they are doing, if they do not get distracted, in fact, they have power. And Concentration is the greatest power to which one can aspire.

We believe that we concentrate because we carry out certain tasks with apparent diligence, but we are not really concentrated.

If one wants to begin to develop Concentration, one has to begin to carry out a very simple task: to see what one does during the day. One thing at a time, it helps to note it down as one goes, in order to be conscious. The day we manage to do that thing concentrated will be a success.

So: the first task of the day, the second, the third, the fourth, the fifth, the sixth, the seventh, etc., etc., and so on with all of them, one after another.

We have to come to do them consciously, in order to be able to become aware of each one of the egos that intervene in each task of the day.

So, one has to struggle every day, from the moment one gets up, to be concentrated, to live the instant, not to get distracted, not to let one’s Consciousness slip away.

Consciousness means: CON, which is more, and SCIENCE, which is Wisdom.

    Points to keep in mind:

    • Making an effort to do one thing at a time.
    • Without thinking about anything else.
    • Without interrupting one thing to do another.
    • Not thinking about things that are going to be done later on.
    • Not remembering things that have already been done.
    • Keeping ourselves centered on what we are doing.

SECOND ASPECT OF FAILURE LACK OF FAITH.

What is it not to have faith?: To doubt, and doubt always leads one to failure. What is it to have faith?: To know, to have certainty.

Knowing is different from believing. One can believe that one can do many things. For example, I can believe that I can fly, but if I have not flown, surely one does not fly. There lies the difference.

To have faith, one needs to overcome something called doubt. What makes us doubt?: being in mechanical imagination all the time.

When one no longer doubts, one does not let the Devil convince one. When one overcomes doubt, one immediately does, and wisdom arises, faith in what one is doing. And afterwards one never doubts again.

A person who has not consciously unfolded doubts projection. But a person who has already consciously unfolded, found out, verified, investigated, has nothing to doubt. Simply apply it and you have your results.

A person who does, knows. And if they know, they never doubt again. They already have faith in what they do, they have overcome ignorance, they have overcome doubt, and they have achieved faith.

    THIRD ASPECT OF FAILURE: FEAR.

Fear renders everyone powerless and incapable. When a person is afraid, they do nothing. This is the force contrary to Love, which is in Deeds. Let us look at specific examples:

Let us imagine that from a building over there we are going to place a taut steel band to here, at a height of fifteen centimeters. We are going to put some handrails and a mat on it so that it is very secure.

From there, fifteen centimeters above the floor, on that very taut steel band, each one of you is going to move forward holding onto the handrail, walking on the carpet.

Does anyone imagine that they cannot? Can everyone? Is there anyone who believes that they cannot?

We are going to do the same task, but at a height of one hundred meters. We are going to raise the same band, we are going to make it taut with its mat and everything. Then we say to each one: “Go ahead.”

Will you cross? And so, you will realize that not a single one is going to cross. Why? Because imagination immediately puts fear into us. And if our fear is not resolved, as long as imagination does not resolve it, the will does not work.

As long as you do not resolve your fears, you will not be able to unfold, you will not be able to meditate, because the will, which is what leads you to doing, is not going to work for you.

FOURTH ASPECT OF FAILURE: THE OBJECTIVE:

Undoubtedly, if you have read about the secret of success, you will know that when one has an objective, one never fails. But when one has no objective, one is a drifter.

The experts teach that of 10,000 ships that leave port with a specific objective, 10,000 succeed, that is, they always arrive where they are going. But imagine a ship loaded with the whole crew, the provisions and everything. They say to the captain: “Shall we set off?” “Yes, let us set off.” And they ask: “Where to?” “I do not know. I do not know yet.”

So what happens? The crew begins: “Let us head for Paris,” “No, let us leave for Germany instead.” Another will say: “No, we had better go to New York,” and so on. Then the whole crew starts fighting and nobody does anything. Why? Because there is no objective.

We must always have an objective: To go to the Tribunal, to investigate how a certain business stands, to make a transfer of funds, to speak with a certain Master, to investigate a certain psychological aggregate, etc. To have a definite course.

That is why, before beginning the practice, we define: what is the objective that we are going to fulfill as soon as we unfold? What is the object of going to look for a certain Master? I have to know what I am going to ask him, am I going to ask him just anything? or am I simply going to go and say to him: how are things, what have you been doing? as everyone does on the physical plane, so that they bring one up to date on their personal history. Whenever one has an objective, it must be definite, fixed.

So, let us study a little where we are failing in these four points: whether Concentration is lacking, whether we have Faith, if we find egos of Fear, let us ask the Divine Mother to eliminate them for us, and finally let us set ourselves an Objective. With this, one should not fail.

CONF. 45WHAT WE MUST DO FOR THE PRACTICES TO GIVE POSITIVE RESULTS

There are 4 rules that every student of esotericism must know:

    1. 1- TO KNOW HOW TO YEARN: To desire is to Yearn, “Desire is the source of all strength”
    2. 2- TO KNOW HOW TO DARE: To begin to do, to start, to dare, to Try.
    3. 3- TO KNOW HOW TO DO: You begin to do a task… the one who does is the Being.
    4. 4- TO KNOW HOW TO KEEP SILENT: No one can speak about what they see in other dimensions.
