Mystic

Love begins with oneself

No one can give what they do not have. That is why the fourth pillar of the course begins within and expands toward others.

1 min read · Based on Conference 01 · Phase A

A man walks along a sunny street beside an elderly woman who holds his arm, while he carries her bags.

The fourth pillar of the course, Mystic, fits into a single sentence from the first conference:

Mystic teaches us to love work, both internal and external.

Conference 01 · Phase A

The first love we must begin to feel is love for ourselves. A person who does not love themselves allows their defects to harm them physically, psychologically and spiritually.

When someone begins to observe themselves and to eliminate those defects, they begin to love themselves: they cleanse their inner temple—their body, their energy, their mind and their emotions—and in it virtue, wisdom and true love blossom.

Only then can they love others, because no one can give what they do not have. How can you love your partner, your children or your fellow human beings if you are full of resentment, envy, jealousy or pride?

Then that love expands toward others and toward all of humanity: teaching others the path of awakening and sharing this wisdom without charging and without seeking personal gain, for the simple sake of serving.

This article is based on Conference 01 of Phase A: UNIVERSAL KNOWLEDGE QS AND OBJECTIVES.
